This Privacy Policy explains how NeonBytes handles information in connection with the NeonBytes website and NeonBytes-operated Meta integrations, including PageMate.
About NeonBytes and PageMate
NeonBytes is a technology and automation-focused business. PageMate is NeonBytes' internal Facebook Page management application used for Facebook Page administration, custom label management, and Messenger activity analytics.
PageMate is a private/internal Facebook Page management tool. It is not a public social network or a customer-facing messaging application.
Information We Collect
Facebook Account Information
When Facebook Login is used, NeonBytes and PageMate may process the information needed to authorize access:
- Facebook user ID
- Facebook account name
- Basic identification information related to the authorized account
PageMate's described Facebook Login data does not include collecting Facebook email addresses.
Facebook Page Information
For a connected Facebook Page, PageMate may process:
- Page ID
- Page name
- Page-related permissions and tasks
- Connection status
- Information required to confirm Page access
Facebook Page Access Credentials
Access tokens received through Facebook authentication are processed server-side. Access tokens are not stored in browser or local storage, and they are not exposed to the frontend. Stored access tokens are kept encrypted server-side using authenticated encryption.
Custom Label Information
PageMate may process Facebook Page custom label information, including:
- Custom label ID
- Custom label name
- Protected label settings
- Label backup metadata
- Label management and audit history
Messenger Activity Metadata
When incoming Messenger events are received through Messenger Webhooks, PageMate stores only minimum activity metadata for analytics:
- Page ID
- Page-scoped user ID, also known as PSID
- Activity date
- First message timestamp
- Last message timestamp
PageMate does not store the text or content of customer Messenger messages for this activity tracking feature.
For this activity tracking feature, PageMate does not store message text, images, audio, videos, attachments, stickers, or files.
During webhook processing, Meta webhook payloads may be received transiently by NeonBytes servers. Message content from those payloads is not stored in persistent storage for the activity tracking feature.
PageMate Account Information
If PageMate uses an administrator login, NeonBytes may process the administrator email address and authentication-related information for authorized access. If administrator password verification data is stored, it is stored as hashed or equivalent non-plain-text verification material. Public website visitors do not create PageMate accounts through this website.
